To lean on Him

I am truly lazy today.

I just want to lean

on the shoulders of Jesus,

allow Him to lead me along,

I am so very weary

of trying to guide

myself day after day.

The Perfect Garden

A path that

leads to a garden,

a garden so luscious—

it contains trees

thousands of years

in age,

awaiting new arrivals—

to tend to them,

to sing to them,

to talk with them,

oh, how long these

trees have waited...

just as He has.
