The Promise of Easter

The promise of Easter is eternal

Yet ever new.

Like the joy of daffodils, vibrant colours of crocuses,

And fresh starts.

Winter is gone, along with deep regrets,

Since death is conquered.

There is the offer of friendship, forgiveness.

In the promise of Easter there is hope.

Our walk with Christ, the Eternal and ever

Present One,

Can continue, or even now begin.
