IN HIS IMAGE

Bathed in love

fashioned like stars

we become light

Darkness lost its clout

to the meaning of our days

sowing and reaping

seeds of compassion

fields of justice,

fingerprints of a loving God.

SEASONS

Trickles of falling leaves

tell a story of hope

and quiet surrender

Brown and golden leaves

cascade like teardrops

yearning for summer

We stand in awe

at the mystery of seasons

hopeful of the promise

of redemption

Like summer days

and winter nights

we fade unto seasons

after seasons

In this parable of life

sadness sits still

Heaven waits.
