Because I Am Thankful
Because I am thankful
I have not forgotten
Those who held my hand
During my life journey.
Blessed with these tender souls
Who have walked with me until
I reached the next destination.
Many times I cried when they let go.
Now understanding
That once they delivered me,
A new hand was prepared.
In my gratefulness I pray
That my hand has been as useful
To those along their way.

Just lovely!
