The voice of God comes to believers in many forms. A vision, a still small voice, a loud booming voice inside your head, an unexpected coincidence, a miracle, a dream, a poem, a song or a painting that seems to flow without effort. God is still creating. He still speaks to His children. Don't believe me? Seek Him. Find out. Test the waters. Dance in the fire. Soak in His presence. Get slain in the spirit. Search out the mystery of who God is. He is a rewarder of those who truly seek.
This issue of Spirit Fire Review is dedicated to Vice-President Mike Pence, and all the many believers who hear God's voice. God speaks to us through his word, by his spirit. Can you hear?
Come, Lord Jesus. Show us your glory!
John 10:3-5
“To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice; and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.”
Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
1 Kings 19:12
It’s in stillness, not busyness, that we tune our spiritual ears to hear the voice of God. The Lord always speaks to us in that “still, small voice”
