A Tribute To Christ
God has taken responsibility for our care and worry
There's no need to be anxious or always in a hurry
You can be positively assured that God does care for you
And He will help you in whatever you set out to do
If God cares for you
Like He did for His holy people, the Jews
He will carry your burdens and cares
And relinquish all of your nagging fears
In the end, nothing will distress you
Your heart will be refreshed and made new
Cast all your cares upon Him
And never let your faith grow dim
God's great plan to save creation
Was to rescue sinners from each and every nation
He sent Yeshua, the Messiah, His Son
The One the prophets all said would come
He was pierced for our transgressions
Crushed and whipped to make reparations
To our relationship with the Almighty in heaven
So that our world would cease to remain broken
So any time you feel disheartened
Look up to the stars; remember the One who was martyred
For your sake and mine
We are the branches; He is the vine
I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and a graduate of Saint Leo University in the United States. I studied Biomedical and Health Science and I'm hoping to attend veterinary school in the near future. I am not a habitual poet or writer but I learned to enjoy writing even more in school through my English courses. My faith in Christ is the most important part of my life and my inspiration for writing stems from my grandmother who was a very talented poet. I wrote this in memory of her.
